Crime Alerts

In this section we will post information regarding recent crime alerts issued by the Dallas Police for our area. When we are made aware of an urgent alert which needs to be communicated we will also post signs in the neighborhood with the "Alert" message hanger on the bottom. HPHA Crime Statistics

Crime statistics reported for January inside or touching the HPHA boundaries:

40XX Timberglen Auto Theft

The following are the number of incidents that were reported in the apartments located on Midway, Timberglen, and Lina during the month of January:

Don't Become a Crime Statistic

Keep doors locked and garage doors down at all times.
Have address clearly visible from street AND alley.
Trim shrubs from house so criminals can't hide and surprise you.
Keep outside well lighted at night.
Have your newspaper stopped when you are out of town.
Beware of slow driving strange vehicles and unmarked vans or trucks in streets and alleys.
Power-off garage doors when possible. Some thiefs can use radio frequencies to make the garage door open.
Even if the garage door is down, lock the door to the house.
Get a dog. GET A BIG DOG. GET A BIG DOG SIGN.
Shut blinds when not at home so no one can take an inventory of your contents.
Always lock your car, remove valuables, and remove garage door opener when parked outside.
