The Highline Gardens Virtual Gazette is born out of the belief that we as neighbors have issues and concens in common that deserve timely and complete sharing using traditional and Internet means. This new web site is created for our mutual use for the benefits of our families and our friends and neighbors. It may be that the management of these matters of mutual interest and concern can be enhanced through the use of a public web site, a community newsletter, and a means for us to solicit and to report on public opinion and events.
Neswletters of this sort are by their nature a collaborative affair. The hope is that each of us will explore this new medium in the management of our community affairs, and contribute to it by offering personal and professional information for publication.
For example, each month's agenda for the forthcoming HOA meeting is recorded on our Highline Gardens web site and is available to be explored in advance at our individual convenience. [Ed's note: Highline Garden HOA board meeting activities are no longer accepted, followed, or reported on this site.]
There are other uses possible, too. You are encouraged to explore the whole site and its many links to community services and information. You may enjoy loading family pictures onto your personal spot on this site and your family may enjoy the email and chat features that can continue the process of keeping us together, close and aware.
Please let me know of your reaction to these ideas. Help make this tool a valuable means of community management and personal connection with each other.
