Light Up Hikes Point -- Our Light up Hikes Point event will be held this year in the Kroger Parking Lot in the McMahan Plaza. Sue Haskens and Colleen Leibert have graciously given us permission to have our Christmas tree there this year.
This event will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 4:00 p.m. We will have children from St. Barnabas and Meredith-Dunn there to lead us in singing Christmas carols.
Santa and his house will be there so you can get your picture taken with Santa at his house. There will also be Fire Truck rides and hot chocolate and cookies.

Membership Renewals ?– You should have received your membership renewal. Have you mailed it back? Please support your Business Association. It would be great to have all the area businesses as members of the Hikes Point Business Association. If you have a neighbor who is not a member of the Association please contact Beth Beckham for a membership form and get them involved.
Christmas Breakfast ?– Instead of having a Christmas Dinner for all the members of our Association we are planning a Recognition Breakfast this year. The Breakfast will be held on Tuesday, December 11 at 7:30 a.m. at the Breakenridge Inn.
This year we will be giving awards to an outstanding Fireman and a Policeman in recognition of the service that they provide to our community all year.
Also this year we are going to recognize one of the Businesses in the Hikes Point Business Association for their work and dedication to our Business Association. You will be receiving a list of nominations and we would like for you to vote for one of the businesses that have been nominated. This business will also be recognized at the Breakfast on December 11.
This year the Breakfast will be provided to all the members of the Association at no charge. This is our way of thanking you for your involvement in our Association all year. Please be sure that you mark your calendar to attend this early morning event.
