My name is Allie Miles. I actually live in the Sherwood area. I've heard of the recent changes to Magness Tree Farm's operating hours: It will now only be open on Sundays each week. This devastates me as I love to hike there every morning. Hiking the wonderful, steep trails is the best thing that has ever happened to me, in fact. 

I know many other fellow hikers will be just as distraught as me. I called the contact on the notice, Rick Zenn, of the World Forestry center. He asked me to send him an email with all of my thoughts in it --I did so this morning. He told me there will be a meeting for the Ladd Hill Association in a couple of weeks. I would like to attend that meeting. Could someone please tell me when, where, and what time it will take place? I told Rick I'm happy to volunteer my time to help out with maintenance, cleanup, posting signs to help prevent vandalism, etc., at Magness. I asked him and the WFC to please consider even opening just the trails for a small window of time each mornning, perhaps? I can't live without my beloved Magness hiking trails. None on earth compare, at least nothing within a 40 miles radius of where I live.
