Speeding Cars & Buses on Beasley

Posted in: Pat Acres Estates
Beasley Road, even with its 10 speed humps, is becoming quite the raceway. Buses in the mornings continually speed up and down the road, as well as motorists. It seems evenings are particularly bad for speeding cars, as well as those with loud stereos. I have contacted the Hills County School System about the buses, but what can really be done about the cars? I have also noticed a lot of late night helicopters, which can't be a good sign. A lot of the loud/speedy cars are actually people who live here.
I have lived in this neighborhood for over 30 years and am afraid it's going downhill.
Check Your Speed

Well, you think you have problems with speeding traffic? How about those of us that live on roads that DO NOT have speed humps? How fast do you think a vehicle can go in less than a mile stretch? I did notice a county sheriff speed monitor device set up on Flowerfield. Wonder how we can get it moved around the neighborhood to monitor other streets...
