Yeah, funny
Can't believe no one is calling. I guess we've all given up. Can't believe officer Kocak never heard of the letter. Spoke with him many times. Interesting. Guess I'll have to go higher. Even spoke to other officer on Vice - actually just left messages, never could reach him. Hmmmm. What to do next. Guess the neighbors don't care anymore, either. Perhaps something really bad has to happen first - like someone getting shot or something in a deal gone bad before they'll open their eyes and realize it's important! Too bad.

Hey, Bill,
By the way, thanks for bringing it up at the meeting. I'm feeling like I'm beating my head against a wall all alone here on this issue. I'm guilty--I stopped calling the cops too, since they don't seem to do anything about it anyway.

Talk to Jill Smith in person!
Word tends to get lost from Sandy down the line. You should go to Jills house on a weekend day she lives at corner of 4th Ave and 23rd Street NE corner. She is in the Neighborhood crime watch. Show her your letter. As for Bob call his boss and complain. Bob tends to look the other way too. The more you push the louder they will hear! Keep sending your info to that email address I gave you to the mayors office. Also get a hold of jaylasita@stpete.org he is our Council member then you might want to try writing them all at council@stpete.org and lets not forget mayor@stpete.org Nghdpart@stpete.org
Chief Harmon St. Petersburg Police Department
1300 First Avenue North
St. Petersburg, FL 33705
Non-Emergency 727-893-7780 and lets not forget what the police hate the most Calling any tv station. They like to talk to people in any neighborhood about the drug problem and one more the St pete times...Good luck

Keep calling
All I know is they(the cops) always say to keep calling. Even if they don't come or the problem is gone when they get there, a record is kept of the calls. There needs to be a record that the neighborhood can point to. So we/you can prove a problem. The police are short handed. Kocak has to great an area(4 areas in total). That's not to excuse them, just to point out that we need to scream often and loudest. You who have problems, need to get the Association to hear this. Come enmase to a meeting and demand some results. You need to keep pounding this. But you have to call. If you don't, you give them the perfect out, everytime. ''Nobodys called, so we don't know anything about it''. Then they brush you off. Yes, it's frustrating. So, you need to take away their excuse. Call the cops. Call the Pres. or a board member. Call, call, call.
