Spring CleanUp Time in Historic Washington Heights

Getting ready for the warm weather is exciting. The Annual Washington Heights Spring CleanUp in partnership with Leadership Charlotte, Class XXVI was held on Saturday, April 16, 2005. The day was full excitment, fun and hardwork. We cleaned out garages, basements, storage houses, in and around the homes, EVERYTHING!

LeadSafe Charlotte campaign was conducted by members of the Youth Services Academy. A door to door campaign to warn residents of the dangers of lead paint.

The Landscaping project coordinated by Todd Lanham, Leadership Charlotte, Class XXVI; Mattie Marshall, and Haywood McGuine,III and members of the Leadership Charlotte, Class XXVI (WHC Team)was a huge success.
