Present: 

(moderator) Mark Fischer from MJF Associates; 

(residents) Catherine Faught, Stephen & Susan Beller, Jennie Liming, Brad & Patti Wooten, Janet Culp, and Kelly & Debbie Cline.

I. Announcements: The board & residents met, with a quorum present. No formal announcements.

II. Discussion:

  - Mark Fischer, from MJF (our homeowners' associatn managemt company), facilitated the meeting.

  - Mark presented a current financial statement and distributed it to those in attendance. Copies are available from MJF.

  - Mark informed us that the cost of trash collection is going up . There was discussion around raising homeowner dues by $20 per quarter.

  - The association website has been up-and-running for a year. It's a free website with no cost associated.

     There was discussion regarding how best to communicate changes & expectations to residents, including a semi-annual newsletter, spring & fall. 

     Further, there is ongoing discussion about the possibility of purchasing & using a "sandwich board" for community announcements, including meeting dates.

  - Regarding the discussion about problem trees & ongoing discussion about maintenance of common areas, it has been decided to obtain quotes toward this end.

III. Actions:

  - A couple board members will obtain quotes for maintaining common grounds. Professional will look @ our dying trees & render an opinion about what, if anything, can be done.

  - Residents -- homeowners & tenants -- can visit & contribute to our community website by signing up. You can optionally post your name or name/address & a photo:).
