Holly Point HOA

NEWS from the Board

Jun 24, 1999

Over the Spring we worked with the City of Thornton Traffic Department to gain permission to
build a new monument sign for the 118th Ave entrance. This included providing detailed
drawings of the new monument and traffic views to the North and South. The Board contracted
with Big Horn Sign of Denver who has recently completed the work. In the Spring we?’ll look at
adding some flower beds and bushes to complete the project.

Recently we completed the change over of Banking institutions moving all of our moneys into
better yielding accounts with new financial institutions. We have also changed Legal council
and CPA?’s and both new firms have been providing excellent service and a better return for our
monies.

With the efforts of the ACC and several homeowners we completed and published the new
Schedule A attachment to the covenants. This allows homeowners the freedom to make changes
to their homes exterior for a variety of things without having to submit for ACC approval. Please
take the time to review the Schedule A that was mailed to you last month before beginning any
outdoor project. You?’ll be surprised at how much freedom you now have.

Recently we have requested bids to build Brick pillars along Holly St. to improve the look of the
fencing and increase the street appearance of the neighborhood. We will be discussing this
project at the Fall meeting and would welcome your feedback.
