when  I sided my house in 2010,  I was told that there was a program available whereby I would receive a tax credit for energizing my house when I filed my income tax. Of course I insulated my house also, and I was told this would qualify for a tax credit.

Now, my accountant says he never heard of such a thing.  What do you know about this?  Can anyone help me apply for this tax credit if indeed one exists?

Yes it does exist and you need a better tax preparier....have the newly hired person file changes to the one that was done wrong....they can go back if there are things missed....also it applies to windows, doors, roof, anything with the qualifing ratings....good luck
