Who We Are

HNS members are a broad group of stakeholders who share a common interest in increasing the effectiveness of homebuyer education and housing counseling services. The group includes representatives from the following sectors: housing counseling agencies, foundations, mortgage lenders, non-profit housing organizations, federal, state and local government, utility companies and real estate professionals.

Our Mission

The mission of Homeownership Network Services (HNS) is to establish through a public/private partnership, a coordinated Central Ohio (Columbus and Franklin County) homeownership education and counseling network. We seek to accomplish this by coordinating and disseminating financial, technical and informational resources to providers of homeownership services.

Our Vision

Our vision is to expand the number of homebuyers who successfully attain and sustain homeownership by raising the quality, scope, and availability of comprehensive homeownership education and counseling.
