Homes On The Hill, CDC, has an established record of accomplishment in home rehabilitation and homeownership programs. The organization was incorporated in 1993 to develop affordable housing in the Hilltop. Homes On The Hill is listed with the IRS as a not-for-profit organization and holds a 501(C)(3) status.
Homes On The Hill began actively purchasing and rehabbing property in 1996 through the support of the National Community Development Initiative grant. Homes On The Hill, CDC has successfully developed twenty housing units and continues to improve and increase organization's ability to purchase and rehab properties in the Hilltop.
HOTH also began a homeownership education workshop in 1996. Our homeownership education program has grown and now we offer over six workshops sessions annually in both English and Spanish. HOTH provides individualized, financial counseling to these housholds.
HOTH aquires property from a variety of sources and provides extensive construction and rehab services. HOTH targets HUD repossesed housing, private market, tax forfeiture sales, vacant and boarded up housing on the Hilltop for rehab. HOTH has developed rental and owner occupant housing.
