Hello Hope Park,
I hope you were able to attend the grand parade on Fenkell last month. We had marching High School Bands, floats, & government officials. It was alot of fun, and Mother Nature even cooperated!
We have a great event coming to our community June 19. Our State Representative Tupac Hunter, is sponsoring the second annual Family Fun Day / Movies in the Park. This event will feature food, fun and many give-aways for the children. Also there will be a booth where you can receive dental cleaning. Last years event was a huge success, and this year is sure to top that. The event will be from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Hope Park on Lahser next to the Crowell Recreation Center. Hope to see you there.
The committee for the HPA's annual Beautification contest has been selected. The group will tour the area and choose the nicest looking homes, based on landscaping, improvements, and over all eye appeal. There is a nice prize and honor ceremony for the winner.. The judging will begin in August and the award ceremony is at the September meeting. Good Luck!!!
