Hope Park Association

BY-LAW CHANGES

A motion has been made to make changes in the current Hope Park Association By-Laws. According to Article XI, amendment of By-laws must be submitted in writing and the members notified. Changes must be voted on and approved with 2/3 of the vote.
This vote will take place at the November 17, 2004 meeting
The motion for changes are as follows:
Article VI, Officers
The position of "Organizational Secretary" will be changed to "Corresponding Secretary"
Article VII, section 3, Executive Board
Executive board meetings shall be held in March, June, September, and November prior to the General meetings, with two additional annual meetings to be determined by the President
Article IX, Section 1 Meetings
This will change from " regular monthly meetings held the third Wednesday of every month from February through November", to
" Four annual general meetings the third Wednesday of March, June, September and November".
Article X, Committees
The auditing committee will be appointed at the March meeting and a report will be given at the June meeting.
