Motor City Blight Busters

John George and the Motor City Blight Busters have kicked off a campaign to renovate and sell 40 homes in the area by the 2006 Super Bowl. It has been named 40 by 40.
The Blight Busters program calls for individuals and corporations to donate vacant homes as a tax write off.
The properties will be rehabbed for about $35,000 and sell for about $85,000. Any profits will underwrite other projects for the group, and really improve the looks of the neighborhoods.
