My new neighbor removed overgrown bushes that have been there since I owned my home. These were planted on her property but over the years have grown through my fence that was up when I purchased my home over 10 years ago. My fence will be ruined after they remove all of the growth in the fence. Now I am being told I need to replace the fence at my cost when it was her bushes that ruined the fence. I do not agree with this and would like to know how I am to proceed. Can you tell me what the city's policy is on this?
