I've asked people who went to Howard and they can't tell me. I'd like to know sonething about his life.

David Tobias Howard, a former  slave, who became one of the  first Negro millionaires in Atlanta as a result of his successful mortuary business.  He was also a distinguished civic leader and philanthropist, who utilized his personal financial resources to fund college educations for many disadvantaged students.  David  T. Howard High School was subsequently named in his honor
