Get in touch and let us know what you?’d like to write for the newsletter or the website! We?’d love to include your work.

Or maybe you?’ve always wanted to see yourself in the funny papers? If you can draw or cartoon, or would like to try, why not submit something for these very pages?

We're also saving broken china, tile, and so on. Here?’s the deal?—the HBNA board is trying to negotiate with the various powers-that-be to get concrete benches for one or two of our bus stops along Evergreen. Our goal is to decorate with mosaics of some sort. We figure we?’ll collect pottery, broken ceramic dishes, tile, marbles, etc. for a year (bring your qualifying stuff to Clean-Up Day). Then we?’ll make Bench Creation a neighborhood project in the summer of 2009. If you can help us make this happen?—if you know how to do a mosaic, or would like to design one?—or if you have materials like grout or tile or even benches to donate?—get in touch. This will be a venture for many willing hands, including yours, if you want to participate in ways large or small!
