Do to the recent car burglaries in the neighborhood, I thought I would give you some suggestions. Never leave valuables in site in your car. Even empty boxes may catch the eye of a thief and you might get your car window broke out for nothing. If you leave town, use light timers that come on at dark and off to make like you are at home. Have your neighbors bring in your trash cans and newspapers.I recently purchased a floodlight from Home Depot that stays on in a night light mode until it picks up a motion and brightens up, so it saves electricity and activates automatically at dusk till dawn. Leave a radio on a news channel so they hear voices in the house and think someone is home. You can purchase fake home alarm decals and place them on your side and back windows and doors. Walmart sells a wireless color outdoor camera system for under $90.00 that allows you to see who is outside at your front door or around your cars on your own TV. Report all suspicious individuals to police. There are more day time burglaries than at night, because the thieves know that almost everyone works during the daytime.
