Neighborhood Picnic Area

Nov 15, 2007

Neighborhood Playground
It will consist of one large basketball court approximately 25 feet by 40 feet with two height adjustable basketball goals on each end, two picnic tables and a large wooden playground set. I have estimated the project cost at about $9000.00.
As of May 24, 2006, the property has been marked off and the bids are coming in. We are dealing with and enviroment friendly companies that will protect the trees and land. I have received some very good advise and we should be able to start the process within the next two weeks. All trees over six inches will remain and be trimmed. All underbrush will be mulched. Solar powered lighting will be installed for security reasons. A sign posting the hours and rules will be posted.
Lets get the children off of the streets and have something to show for our dues.
This is only phase I of our plans on our recreation area. I am asking for your input into building Phase II of our neighborhood recreation area. Nature trails exercise station are examples.

24 JUNE 2006/Update: Bids are in will start coordinating the project with the HOA Office for their review. Jim W
