Resident offers recipe for organic weed killer

Here's a recipe for a cheap, nontoxic, organic weedkiller that works great---Fill a spray bottle w/vinegar (50% works best, but I've used 9% and it works), plus a tablespoon or two of orange oil (Can be bought at Fertile Garden www.fertilegarden.com). I've been told vinegar with a few drops of liquid detergent and some salt works as well. Simply spray it directly onto the foliage of the weed. This is a great thing to use especially for weeds growing in cracks between cement or bricks. Safe for kids and for the environment as well!
