As of June 2013, I will be resigning from the board. I have served for 5 years and believe it's time for me to focus on my studies and career. As a homeowner in this neighborhood, I plan to continue to be active.
Serving on this board has been a learning experience and I am greatful for the time. As with any governing body, there is so much you think you know until you step up and take the reigns. I hope that out of the 248 homeowners in this neighborhood, others feel comfortable enough to step up and help the neighborhood move through the next phase. I know there are some good ideas and new blood will definitely help move the neighborhood forward.
I appreciate those who have served on the board with me. I also appreciate those who have called with concerns, complaints, or suggestions. All of this has held me accountable and opened my eyes to issues I may not have been aware of.
