The Hunters Hill Hawks Swim Team ended the 2001 season by sending 21 kids to the Rocky Mountain Swim League Finals on July 14! The HH Hawks won high point team trophies for our division in several age groups, including 7-8 Boys, 9-10 Girls, 9-10 Boys, 11-12 Girls and 13-14 Boys. The complete results from finals are attached to the newsletter. Additionally, there were three team records broken in 2001:

Colin Hornock, 7-8 Boys, 25 Back, 22.94
Ben Stroud, 7-8 Boys, 100 IM, 1:47.51
Brent Fuller, 13-14 Boys, 200 IM, 2:33.91

The team had a great end-of-season party at the pool on Sunday, July 15. It was a beautiful evening, the food was delicious and everyone had a great time! Awards were distributed to the team members and lots of funny stories were told. The parent volunteers were thanked for their help and support during the season. We had a great coaching staff again this year, including Lonnie Murt, Brian Caulkins and Andrew Friend (please come back!). The best news of the night?…Marie Chillemi and Alice Jablonski will be returning as Swim Team Parents for the 2002 season. See you next year!

We need a laptop PC: The HH Hawks Swim Team is in desperate need of a donated laptop PC to track all team members, their events/times and swim meet scores electronically. The PC that we had to start the season with went kaput after meet #2! The PC needs to meet the following minimum specifications: 200Hz (prefer 300Hz); 32MG RAM (prefer 64MG); Win 95, 98 or NT/2000.
