Hunters Ridge Village

I have a neighbor who was just given 10years probation for sexual assault of a seven year old girl. I do not know all of the details, but I am extremely concerned. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions?

Convicted Sex Offender

If you have children, I'd suggest instructing them to stay away from the individual.

You might also consider talking with the neighbor. I doubt there is anything the neighbor could say that would assuade your fears, but you would at least let them know that you are aware of the situation.

I saw a list of convicted offenders about 2 years ago & found that there were more offenders living in close proximity than I would have thought (or have preferred).

I would caution you against taking any action that hasn't been reviewed & approved by an attorney. I know many people's reaction has been to try to make circumstances unpleasant enough to persuade the offender to move. However, there are no legal grounds to require an offender to relocate & you could actually find yourself outside the law.
