?• Call 911 for All Emergencies
?• Non-Emergency Situations ?– call Gaithersburg Police at 301-258-6400 to report noise complaints, dog running loose or excessive barking, lost or recovered property, drug dealing, theft, loitering by strangers on the premises or if you need a police officer to escort you in an unsafe situation.
?• Fire Department: Report anyone cooking on balconies and patios which is strictly prohibited
?• Keep your doors locked at all times ?– even if you are out for a few minutes.
?• If a stranger knocks on your door, do not open it. Some strangers are posing as salespeople or repairmen and expect you to open your door. Speak through the door only so they know that someone is home. Do not open your door for strangers for any reason!
?• Be aware of your surroundings and safety when outdoors and in the basement.
?• Please remember to lock all basement and storage doors to deter vandalism, theft and loitering.
?• Report anything that might look suspicious or unusual in the building or on the premises.
?• Properly secure windows and sliding patio doors at all times
?• Do not throw anything off your balcony ?– you may injure someone.
