Next Steps

1. Write Letters of Support for Harold Fenderson directly to JCPS Board. Also express concern about the leadership of Superintendent Stephen Daeschner regarding his disruptive and callous handling of the dismissal in total and it's negative impact on children currently attending Central High School and those making plans to attend next school year. ( See "Sample Letter of Support")

2. Attend Next JCPS Board Meeting in great numbers on December 9, 2002 at 7:00pm at Vanhoose Educational Bldg. located on Newburg Rd and Bishops Lane. Sign up to make brief statement if possible. Also attend all Board meetings. (See schedule)

3. Attend the Public Hearings on Jan 6 & 7, 2003 held by the KY. Dept. of Education Tribunal to decide the appeal of Rev. Harold Fenderson's dismissal. Hearings held at Vanhoose Educational Bldg located on Newburg Rd and Bishops Lane. 9:00am each day.

4. Attend Emancipation Day Worship Service
When: Jan 1, 2003, 12:00 noon
