I am very excited about the possibility of change in the city of pawtucket, but I am extrememly concerned over the lengths one will go to to make sure they win the race!  There has been reports of  intimidation and threats being made that have not been publicized (yet).   Why would someone making very good money at the state level be working so hard for a job that pays the (same) or less in the city of pawtucket?  I have watched the past debates of the two mayoral candidates.   I have also watched city workers threatened with job loss or retaliation if they did not support the Kinch candidate.     .

Sadly this nonsense will continue.....until it does hit the press - which it may.  We are being duped into thinking that politics is about having the courage and stamina to run for office - with a hope of making a difference.   It is refreshing to see so many people running for office this year....in all capacities.   But we need to follow and learn about these candidates, and who they are - what they stand for.  Especially the mayoral position.   Will they bring integrity to the job or run it like a dynasty?  We hear this nonsense about missing signs - or political signs appearing out of nowhere, unsoliticited.   Is it my imagination, or are we seeing Kinch signs on mostly empty houses or boarded up buildings?  I'm just noticing.  

As a candidate who has set up 90 signs so far, I can tell you I have lost over 10% to vandalism & theft, it's stinks because people have stepped up and helped us pay for those yard signs...maybe they will realize that my message isn't on a yard sign...and leave them alone..
