Hello, My name is Sandra Bridges. My grandparents, and later my father lived in 12055. My father passed away a few years back and my uncle handled his estate. He put it accross that he owned the unit. All was forgotten, until last week.
He's been scrambling to buy all the co owners out, for a very small amount each. He's saying the condo is so far back on taxes, condo association fees and loans that its underwater and hes selling it to a realtor.
I looked the taxes up, and they are current. I pulled up the sheriffs auction, scheduled for April 11, and there was a foreclosure due to a loan.
I'm trying to make heads or tails of this, from what I gather my father is a third to half owner, and through succession I own his share.
Does anyone know who is the condo association president or treasurer so I can find out whats actually owed? My uncle was untruthful about the taxes, so I dont know what else to believe. I've had a few attorneys look at it and they advised me not to sign anything away.
I'm out of state, so it adds extra challenges when dealing this, along with the fact I only found out last week. Why wouldn't you just let the auction go through if its that far underwater? Why not sell it and let the co owners get their fair share if its such a miniscule amount anyway?
Any help would be appreciated. My fathers name was Charles Ayres, uncles name is William "Bill" Ayres and grandfather was Harold Olson.
I dont know if there are seperate unit numbers, but the condo address is 12055 SW Imperial Ave, King City, OR.
