ENTRANCE COMMITTEE UPDATE

If you see Carolyn Turner, please thank her for her many years of dedicated work as head of the Entrances Committee. The improvement in the appearance of the entrances is directly tied to the leadership Carolyn provided. Thank you, Carolyn.

Fortunately for the neighborhood, Betsy Smalldon has agreed to head the committee. Betsy has also planted, watered, and babied the flora at the entrances for a long time. Please contact Betsy if you wish to assist in the most public representation of our civic pride.

ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR NOTES
Labor Day was sunny, hot and perfect for the IH Celebration and Potluck at the pool. It was a great success with a wide variety of delicious dishes. Our friendly residents even shared their steaks, ribs and seafood. It was the largest turnout of people I have seen at the pool and a wonderful ending to the Summer season.
A Halloween Party is planned for Thursday October 31st from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the tennis courts. Wear your costumes, and enjoy games, snacks, and roasting hotdogs. Hope to see you there!

BE FASHIONABLE, AND CIVIC MINDED, AT THE SAME TIME

The Indian Hills Swim Club is offering an attractive line of clothing items sporting the logo of the best neighborhood on the Northwest part of Columbus. Sweatshirts, t-shirts, golf shirts, and towels in multiple hues will make you warm and good looking. All this, while helping the Swim Club with the proceeds of the sales.

If you would like to see samples of these items, look at the August edition of VOGUE, or call Tim Cattibiani, 5984 Tulip Hill.

LOOK OUT?…

?…for a new appearance to ?“Smoke Signals?” next time around. Lyn Falk, a talented neighbor from the ?“Middle of the Hood?”, has created a very attractive new format. You will notice the difference.
