HOLIDAY LIGHTS LOOK LOVELY!
As usual, Indian Hills is sporting a seasonal look which includes many, many homes decorated with outdoor lights, wreaths, Santa, reindeer, candy canes, and all sorts of holiday decoration. This time of year, it?’s a real treat to drive through our neighbor-hood. Thanks to all residents who ?“deck the halls?”. It looks great!
Winners of the Holiday Decoration Contest
There were so many to choose from, but Chairperson Kristin Zerkle and her intrepid Activities Committee selected the 3 best homes in the 2007 decoration contest. These top 3 received gift cards of $75, $50 and $25, respectively. They are:
1. Gary & Mary Ann Grove, 891 Lynbrook
2. Eugene & Lynn Moore, 6037 Tulip Hill
3. Dennis & Linda Foley, 951 Spring Grove
Good job and congratulations!
CITY CHRISTMAS TREE FROM INDIAN HILLS
It was on TV and in the newspaper, but you may have missed it. This year?’s official Columbus Christmas tree came from right here in Indian Hills. Mrs. Bertie Tomsic of 5924 Litchfield Rd. donated the large evergreen, which was removed from her yard then lit and displayed in front of City Hall. A nice gesture, Mrs. T! And a nice tree, too.
HALLOWEEN PARTY A SPOOKY SUCCESS
The neighborhood Halloween party was held October 27th at the Common Grounds. There was a bonfire for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, goody bags for all the kids, and lots of creepy costumes. A great time was had by folks of all ages. Thanks go to Activities Chair Kristin Zerkle and her helpers. Great job!
NEW NEIGHBORS
Please give a warm Indian Hills welcome to these new residents:
Doug & Missy Obergefell, 6073 Tulip Hill
Tom Scarpitti, 945 Spring Grove
