5/28/12 Break-ins and robberies are happening all over Baton Rouge. We in Indian Mound are fortunate (knock on wood) that we have precious little of these activities. There were some (apparently kids) on 5/27/12 who used dry markers to paint a few mailboxes, the stop sign at the end of Chickasaw avenue and mark up a few car windows. Not too vandalistic as they only wrote on windshields with dry markers which was easily wiped off. It was done however. These events only happened the one night as far as known and a police report was filed.

8/10/12 around 10pm (could have been as late as 1 am) some unlocked cars where entered by unauthorized persons, electronics and wallets were stolen. This happened on Teneiya Avenue & on Pernecia Avenue. Police reports were filed in both cases.

8/21/12 My neighbors Rat Terrior has been missing since yesterday afternoon . If anyone has seen a black and white Rat Terrior please let me know . He answers to the name T Man and lives at the 5th house on the left on comanche . Thanks so much. - Dana Truett ****Update 8/24/12: I just wanted to let you know T Man is home safe and sound . A man on Joor rd found him ! I can’t  imagine how he got that far LOL
