Cement/sidewalk work
I just wanted to let you all know about Keith Johnson (Keith Johnson's Concrete Co.). He is the gentleman who, last summer, was often seen in our neighborhood, asking residents if they wanted their sidewalks or driveways redone. Well, my husband, Dave, contracted him to add a sidewalk to the back of our house, which he strung along, but pretty much completed (minus clean-up work and a few finishing touches). Dave also hired Keith to haul brush, scraps of wood, some sand/dirt, etc. away. It has been one week now, and he still hasn't completed the job. He has told us many times now that he'd do it that day or the following day. I just wanted to let you know - do NOT pay him in advance. He did an okay job with the sidewalk; however, considering this treatment that we're getting, I wouldn't necessarily recommend him. I'll let you all know if he finishes the job or not. |

Keith did finish the job.
Keith did finish the job, but he left a significant amount of side work behind, such as cleaning up the area. It took a couple of weeks for him to get some guys out to pick up the wood and scrap materials. By Rhonda |

Tree-trimming recommendation
Tree-trimming Service Recommendation: Jim Clark with The Tree Machine, Inc. removed a 60' dead tree from my backyard on July 5, 2007; he did a very good and thorough job. He gave us a very reasonable estimate and was incredibly polite and informative. Jim Clark's phone numbers are 257-6667 and 407-5113. -Rhonda Finney Warfleigh resident @ 6375 Broadway Street |
