Please take a few moments and read your covenants. It is important that all of them are followed. These covenants are here to protect your property values. Remember... no detached storage buildings (mini-barns & sheds)and above-ground swimming pools are permitted in this subdivision. Additionally, BOATS, RV's and trailers of any kind are NOT permitted. If you are considering adding on to your home, you must obtain Architectural review from the MLHOA Board. You must also follow the brick requirements and height restrictions on the pitch of the roof etc. If you are required to have a brick wrap on your home, then your new addition shall also have brick (where applicable. Also, keep in mind of the City of Indianapolis Municipal Codes. Please obtain the required permits (such as electrical, structural and plumbing). Please follow the local zoning ordinance laws, for example,follow the setback restrictions for the inground pools and hot tubs (screening and landscaping is required) no unlicensed and inoperable vehicles are permitted and no outside storage of auto-parts, auto-repair and painting of vehicles. Commrcial vehicles, such as tow trucks, trucks over 3/4 ton and box trucks, semi-cab trucks and trailers are strictly prohibited. The display, outdoor advertising and sale of motor vehicles is not permitted in any residential district in Marion County. Fences must not be taller than 42'' in the front yard setback and are not permitted in front of your house period, if you are on a corner lot. (It impedes the veiw of oncoming traffic and is located in the clear-sight triangular area.) Please be aware too, if you are walking your dog... that you keep it on a leash. Please pick up the dog feces and don't let your cats roam the neighborhood either. Also, no signs shall be displayed in the public Right-of-Way or on light fixtures and utility poles. Only ONE realtor sign (For Sale) shall be displayed on a lot and no other signs are permitted. No off-premise signs are permitted. For example, ''For Sale By Owner'' signs displayed with an arrow. These are not only in our covenants, they are the regulations of the City of Indianapolis Municpal Code Sign Ordinance.
