Concerned somewhat with the direction our neighborhood is heading I made some comparisons with other neighborhoods that have taken what appears to be a downward spiral. Most have multiple inopperable, abandoned or otherwise idle vehicles in the streets, yards, roadways. Most have a mirror hanging on the side. Children are allowed to wander freely and un-supervised at all hours. There is a lot of stop and go traffic in front of certain houses in the community, my guess is they are not making charitable contributions to the local police department. It is time to make a decission, what are we as a neighborhood going to do about it? If we choose to ignore it we might as well wave any chance of profiting from our investments and take the diminished gains from our investments and be thankful, I for one don't find this to be an apealing option. I will be doing a neighborhood canvasing session within the next month or so to enlist new membership in our board of directors, I look forward to speaking with all of you who have ideas on how to enrich our own neighborhood and make Oakforge a comfortable and safe environment for all.
