Renting vs. Home Ownership

Posted in: Old W End
Regardless if you rent or own your home, the responsibilities to your neighbors and community in which you live, are basically the same.

In this regard, the upkeep of the sidewalks and being responsible for your own trash are up to you. Trash pickup is on Wednesdays. Your toters need to be placed by the alley, or the designated pick up spot. If you need a toter, contact your landlord, or contact the Muncie Sanitary District
(a link is provided on the site.)

As a renter, you may need to get your landlord to take care of the sidewalks, i.e. shoveling snow, litter, leaves, etc. If your sidewalk is not being taken care of by your landlord: let them know you want it done. If that doesn't work, let the association know you need help getting it done.
