What kind of children do we have living in this subdivision who would find an almost new wheelchair sitting by the curb who would take the chair away and tear the wheel up?

My husband is a recent amputee and his chair evidently did not lock properly when i took him for blood work today. When we got back the chair had evidently rolled to the street where kids took it and half distroyed it before some other neighbor's children brought it back. I can not believe people do not supervise thier children more closely! Wouldnt you wonder if you saw your kids playing with a wheelchair??? Wouldnt you make them take it back and find the owner?

THANKS to the kids who DID bring it back - it is hard enough to deal with my husband's disabilty without people stealing things. I guess this is the kind of neighborhood Persimmon Ridge has become! I know now not to leave anything of value sitting out!
