I play dodge the cars every day on Doris Drive. It is my understanding that it is illegal to park on the street in Farley, yet nothing is being done about the offenders.
I understand that sometimes company/visitors need to park on the street, but there are a few offenders who park daily on the street or park with two wheel in the yard--guess what , that still leaves two wheels on the street.
It is a hazard. Driving is cut down to one lane and children run out from behind cars. Will someone have to be injured or killed to get some attention?!
Please, if you are one of the offenders. Do not park on the street.

Doris Drive Street Parking

Dear Neighbor: Only streets that are designated with ''No Parking'' signs are included in illegal parking violations. We had several iquiries from residents along Doris Drive regarding the problems created by cars using the street for parking. We called the City of Indianapolis and was told the residents on that street could request no parking designation by getting ALL home owners along Doris Drive to sign a petition and submitting their request. Unfortunately ON ONE was willing to take on the responsibility for getting this done. We offered assistance in writing and submitting the information.

Without specific petition and signatures, parking will continue. If you are a resident on Doris Drive, please contact me via email and I will be glad to help you with that petition.

Farley Association is a volunteer organization and is only able to monitor City/County Code violations. We have no jurisdiction on other matters. Many times we have provided an information list to residents with local numbers for resolving speeding, parking, etc. If you check the ''News and Updates'' on our Website, you will find helpful information.
