I hope the residents understand the laws which (unfortunately) are not enforced in Indiana regarding the illegal use of some fireworks. It is unlawful for anyone to set off fireworks in the street or on the common ground in our neighborhood(around the lakes). If you want to set them off on your own property and injure yourself,your friends and your property, that is strictly up to you. But remember, if you shoot them off around the lakes, common area or in the street, you will be held accountable and the liability will be great.This is not a legal access area to shoot off fireworks. Just be courteous and THINK before you act. Not to mention the potential injuries and the trash you leave behind and the hours in which you shoot them off. (2:00am in the morning etc.) Also, Stop signs are posted for a reason and loud stereo noises should not be tolerated. If you want to see the Judge in Superior Court 12 at 1525 Shelby St., that's up to you also.
