Regarding theft, junk cars,etc

Regarding junk cars. The city-county codes for junk cars determine the removal of them. You can call the mayor's action lineat 327-4622 and report a car. Give exact address and the description of the car. It will be removed if it meets the criteria for junk cars. You can receive a follow up number (PLEASE ASK FOR IT!) and then follow up if the car is not removed.

Regarding your stolen flag. We regret this happened, however, it has been a problem in many areas and without a visual witness to the theft, there isn't much that can be done. We agree, it is sad that our flag is stolen by someone.

Be A Good Neighbor

When we decided to put in a new mailbox and post we also went ahead and installed one for our neighbor whose box is right next ours. Sometimes people have it on their 'list' of things to do but it just never gets done. So if you have the extra material/time, then be a good neighbor and help out.

Dear Resident:

You are certainly a ''good neighbor'' and you willingness to add a new mailbox for your neighbor to improve the appearance of your mailbox area is a fine example of caring about Farley.

In addition to ''not having extra time and material'' there are also residents who are elderly, ill,or financially stressed and cannot get some of the porperty chores done. We all need to be aware of our neighbors' needs and pitch in when we can. It pays off in better neighbor relationships and a better looking neighborhood.

You deserve a big pat on the back!
