Has anyone in this area, have concerns about the renters at 810 W. 10th. As I am writing this out, there are at least 6 to 8 people, drinking and laughing it up in there carport.
I normally do not like to get involved with others bad habits, but at midnight, I think they are pushing the limits??
This goes on 2 to 4 times a week!!!
Should I call the police ? Probably so!!
Any ideas would help.....

10pm weeknights, midnight fri/st

Those are the times in the noise ordinance. you can call the police. use teh non-emergency number. But before calling the police, i always try to talk to my neighbors first. even if it's 3 am. you can also wait till the next day. leaving a note, can be tricky, minsunderstood. if it continues they have been warned.
also we have a 'newcomer greetings' letter that i drop off to newbies in the hood. i'm always behind on that. will do it today.
also, you can go to maricopa.gov then >assessor< and look up the landlords name and contact info. and call them. not late at night. that can constitute harrassement, but the next day. The association is trying to bring landlords into the fold as participants. i believe they should be leaders, proactively making our community better. Not forcing the residents, some of whom have lived here several decades to be reactive to their abuse of our community, by not properly vetting and informing thier renters how to act and care for thier property and the community.
you are welcome to the Board meetings and Neighborhood meetings to discuss this issue. I will put it on the agenda for the Board meeting this sat at noon, meet at the park for 1/2 hour, then to my house for 1/2 hr. 719 w 10th st.
