I am interested in the signing our child up for the kids soccer league that plays in the neighborhood. Can anyone give me some info regarding contact, sign up, calendar info? Is it done through the Town of Queen Creek or another organization? Thanks!

And sign up for the Castlegate marketplace google group you can go back and search through the postings.  It's a woman in the neighborhood that does it so you'd need to contact her.  She sent out e-mails awhile back regarding it (although I think it's full at this point).  I'd encourage you to sign up for the group as well since e-mails regarding sports, community events, yard sales, etc also go out through that group and it's a great way to stay informed.

Here after going back here's the e-mail.  But it was posted on July 7th and is for fall teams so they may be full at this point.  I believe there is also Spring soccer somewhere in this area.

I am starting registration for our fall season. I am asking only for coaches and their kids right now. As I get coaches I will open up the registration completely.
Registration will go until Sat. Aug. 14th, or until teams are filled.

Fee is $25 per child (Coaches receive $5 discount per child)
Practices will start in September 11
Games will start October 16 - Nov. 13
Ages- 3 -11 (if there is interest in an older league I will consider doing one if there are coaches.)

This league is supposed to take the craziness and stress out of having our kids play sports. All practices and games will be held on Saturday mornings at the greenbelt off of Rousay and Schnepf. The league goes for 9 weeks this time. 4 practices and 5 games.

If you are interested in being a volunteer (because I really need them), I need volunteers to set up/take down the fields, and game time keepers. Each is a very easy position.

I'm sorry you missed the sign up! Tammi is actually moving and I'm in the process of taking over the organizing of the group. I am creating a website and will post on here when it is up and working. We want everyone to participate that wants to! I plan to have sign up simple and all information from the site. Next season begins in February. I'll let you know more soon!
