City of Jonesboro Neighborhood Watch

     The main objective of the neighborhood watch is to educate, plan and prepare for crime prevention in the City of Jonesboro. Our monthly meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at the Jonesboro Police Department located at 170 S. Main St., Jonesboro.At each meeting we will have a police officer who will speak on a topic in crime prevention. We will have a open question and answer forum and also he/she will provide us with monthly statistics on what is happening in our community.

     The goal of the excutive committee is simple - to link our citizens with the police officers that serve us. We are a volunteer group of concerned residents coming together to learn crime prevention, to create open communication with our police officers, our police chief, our mayor and council members. We are team oriented,working together for the betterment of the community in which we live.

     We are a member of USA On Watch and The National Crime Prevention Council.
