Traffic Study & Resurfacing
The cul-de-sacs will be resurfaced sometime this year. The city told us that a posting will be up two weeks prior to resurfacing and a notice 48 hours prior. Results from the traffic study conducted in our neighborhood concluded that we have an average of 785 vehicles a day, with 110 at peak hours, traveling on Autumnbrook Trail. We qualify to go a step further on the decision of putting in speed humps on Autumnbrook Trail to slow down traffic. It will cost the community $2000 to go forward and we would need a petition signed by 75% in favor of the traffic slowing devices. Input from neighbors is essential to proceed further or to let the issue rest. Please write a note stating your opinion on this issue when you drop off your dues to the Bensons or the Grays. Thank-you!

Spring Garage Sale
It is the time of year again to clean out the garage and house! We will have a neighborhood garage sale on April 20th. JCRC will take care of getting the posting in the newspaper, all you have to do is open your garage for the sale!

Roof Replacement
Are you ready for a new roof? JCRC would like to know if you are interested in getting your roof replaced at a group rate. If you are interested, contact Jim Gray (JCRC Treasurer) at 262-0982. He will contact different roofing contractors and try to get a reasonable bid.

Safety
Do you ever drive around cars, trailers or lawn service vehicles to find children, people running or animals suddenly right there if front of you?? Please try to park your vehicles/trailers in your driveway or garage to avoid an emergency from occurring. If you use a lawn service, please remind them to park in a least restrictive place in the street.

Lease Law
Do you own a cat? Does your cat roam outside? Do you know where your cat roams? Did you know the city lease law applies to cats? If your cat is a nuisance to a neighbor, your kitty could be in jeopardy.

Neighborhood Watch
It has been brought to the JCRC?’s attention that one of our neighbors arrived at home to trespasser. The suspect quickly exited through the back door and got away. This occurred during daylight hours. For your safety...?…please keep backdoors locked and garage doors closed whenever possible. We encourage everyone to keep a watchful eye out for suspicious activity in our community. Report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
