Adopt-An-Alley/Street
Residents, businesses, and groups can make a difference in their neighborhoods by adopting an alley or street and keeping it clean. The adopting party agrees to clean up the alley/street four times each year. Keep Columbus Beautiful has permanent signs printed and installed which thank the adopting party by name.
Great American Cleanup
The Great American Cleanup is the nation's largest volunteer litter cleanup. Held during spring, this event is coordinated nationally by Keep America Beautiful, Inc. and locally by Keep Columbus Beautiful. Trash bags and gloves are available for anyone wanting to improve their neighborhoods by cleaning up litter. The 1999 Great American Cleanup totalled 9,311 volunteers in 85 cleanups throughout Columbus.
Cleanups Year-Round
Columbus residents don't just clean up in spring. Keep Columbus Beautiful has supplies for cleanup activities year-round.
