On July 19, 2007 Chief Jim Carter and I attended the above seminar that was held at the Marriott East.

Several items about pipeline safety were discussed, we hope to have more concerning this event soon on our city website, it was brought to our attention that before you dig or drill on your property you need to call 811 to verify were the gas pipes are located on your property.

As anyone should know if there is a major gas line eruption 911 and if possible the company name that pipes the gas and/or oil should be notified as soon as possible.
