ANNUAL MEETING

Posted in: Johnson Green
The annual meeting turned out to be an unfortunate situation. I believe the board was trying to do the best for the community. It's so sad to see adults act like grade school kids. I'm not convinced the new board will be able to do a better job than the previous board. I'd like to see some comments.
Annual Meeting

Dear Anonymous

I do understand your concern, however I think we all want what is best for our Community. Please keep in mind that the entire Board of Directors live in Johnson Green as well.
We, as a Board are working together as a team which is what it takes to make it successful. We all want our homes to go up in value and take pride in managing your Maintenance Fees. We are volunteers on the Board and it is a Thankless position to be in. However, if you were at the Annual Meeting then you know you can't get anyone to step forward to be on the Board or even offer assistance. When looking at the overall complex issues we must, as a Board, priortize on a daily basis what is the most important task to handle and what is the most cost effective for the Community.
As far as the previous board, there are still 2 who remain on the Board, one being myself. As far as the meeting itself, you and the other co-owners have the last say as to what happens at the meetings. And as you could tell many co-owners asked for the resignation of our previous president and not to accept the resignation of the two reamaing board members.
We welcome you to attend any of our Board Meetings so you can get a beter picture of the overall responsibilities at hand.
A letter to the entire community went out recently, I hope you were able to get somewhat of an idea of our daily concerns and the overall status of accounts within our complex.
I would like to discuss this further with you, however being anonymous in your comment does not allow me to contact you. If you would like to discuss this further you can e-mail me at pcellington@insightbb.com or contact me by phone at 345-8819.

Sincerely,
Carmen Ellington, President
