Round-a-bout traffic rules

Posted in: Little Spring Farm
Why were the stop signs replaced with yield signs? Many drivers do not seem to respect the yield signs and blow right through. This increases the odds of accident.
Was this a city decision or a neignborhood decision?
Round-A-Bout Traffic Rules

I believe people were treating the Stop Signs as Yield Sign anyways. The rule of a Round A Bout is that the person in the Round A Bout has the right of way. As with a stop sign, the first vehicle at the Yield Sign has the right of way. It does appear that some people do not know these rules. Drivers should always be careful and courteous at this intersection.
Stop Signs Up Again

I don't know if the Website helped restore the stop signs at the round a bout or if they were already planning to change out the signs. But, the problem has been fixed.
Traffic Rules

I am not sure whose decision it was to replace the stop signs with yield signs, but all who live in the neighborhood need to observe the four-way yield as a four way stop. People fly right through in the mornings as if they think they have the right away on Vista Hills and ignore the people coming from Little Spring Blvd. as if we are not even here. I can't tell you how many mornings I have almost been hit.
