Architectural Changes

You must request permission from the Kings Mill Board for any architectural changes, additions, or attachment to the exteriors of the building. This includes items such as doors, windows, air-conditioners, and TV antennas.

Window fans that do not extend beyond the window screen are OK and do not require permission. The association has requirements on these types of changes and those must be followed. The association can fine or require the owner to remove any architectural changes, additions, or attachments that do not meet the Kings Mill requirements. Permission for prior architectural changes, additions or attachments must be pre-approved in writing, and submitted to the Kings Mill Board for approval.
