Have you noticed. Lots of residence have opt to install solar window screens. Federal Tax Break as follows:
Make sure screen qualifies in rating or it will not be allowed as a deduction on Federal Tax Return.

To qualify for the tax credit

· Purchase a qualifying window or door screens that meets the new standards: U-Factor and SHGC of 0.30 or below.

Retain your NFRC label from each product along with sales receipt for tax credit verification and preparation. The NFRC label shows that the energy efficiency of the window or door meets or exceeds tax credit eligibility requirements.
