Our neighbor had mentioned noticing rats outside lately, so our family set traps and poisons. We've caught more than I'd like to admit in our backyard and ally. We see evidence they are still around but have now gotten wise to the traps and seem very slow in reacting to the poison. I've spoken with friends throughout the neighborhood who have mentioned they have seen them lately too, a few streets down.
At this point I'm just trying to get the word out so that we can all need to make an effort to pick up after our dogs, set out trash for pick up at the latest possible moment and clear the clutter in backyard/alleyways so the rats are less comfortable.
Anyone else have thoughts?
